
Tickets on Sale Thursday for 2025 CBS Sports Classic in Atlanta
ATLANTA (Sept. 23, 2025) – Tickets for the 2025 CBS Sports Classic, which will take place Dec. 20 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, will go on sale to the general public beginning Thursday at 11 a.m. ET.
Fans can secure their seats for the annual college basketball showcase by visiting www.cbssportsclassic.com/tickets. Additionally, through the event website, fans can register for a 24-hour presale that will begin on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Kentucky and St. John’s will tip off at 12:30 p.m. and will be followed by North Carolina and Ohio State at 3 p.m.
North Carolina and Ohio State have met 16 times, with the Tar Heels owning a 13-3 advantage in the series. North Carolina has won all three previous CBS Sports Classic meetings against the Buckeyes, including an 89-84 overtime thriller in 2022.
Kentucky and St. John’s renew their rivalry as they face off for the 17th time, with Kentucky holding an 11-5 series lead. The matchup features a reunion for Rick Pitino, now head coach at St. John’s, who returns to face his former program and one of his most notable players in Kentucky head coach Mark Pope, captain of the Wildcats’ 1996 national championship team.
The CBS Sports Classic makes up two games of an elite tripleheader of college basketball action on CBS and Paramount+ on Dec. 20. Following the CBS Sports Classic, Houston will take on Arkansas in the Never Forget Tribute Classic, which will tip at 5:30 p.m. from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
